Tammy Lo-D'Onofrio has an undergraduate degree from U.C. Davis in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior (NPB) and has a MSN from the Yale University School of Nursing. Tammy has been an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner for over 11 years. Tammy currently conducts pancreatic cancer research at Nuvance Health, where she is affiliated with Norwalk and Danbury Hospitals. Prior to primary care and cancer research, Tammy worked in neurosurgery at NYU Langone Medical Center and Stamford Health Medical Group. Tammy brings vast critical care experience and research-driven care to the practice. Tammy loves playing with her kids, reading, watching documentaries, and trying new foods.

In 2019 Tammy was awarded the The Marilyn Edmunds JNP Writing Award for her journal article titled "Screening for Pancreatic Cancer in Individuals With New-onset Diabetes Mellitus"
