Covid-19 (SARS-CoV2) :
A novel coronavirus is a new coronavirus that has not been previously identified. The virus causing coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), is not the same as the coronaviruses that commonly circulate among humans and cause mild illness, like the common cold. COVID-19 is a virus that our office is taking all precautions to combat. Some of the precautions we have taken include:
- Cleaning the waiting room and exam rooms qith EPA approved products in between each patient
- Requesting patients wait in their cars until called to enter the building to limit waiting room guests
- Requesting that all patients wear a cloth face covering
- All staff wearing appropriate face mask coverings
- Asking patients to not bring guests unless medically required
- Changing HVAC filters often
- Increased office cleaning frequency
- Patient screening questions prior to visits
- assisting in testing patients for COVID-19 PCR when appropriate
- frequent monitoring via telemedicine for patients infected with COVID-19
